Attendees: Brian Stevens, Kevin Trout, Jeff Earl, Charlie Windisch

Location: Deborah Rawson Memorial Library meeting room.

Meeting was called to order at 7:13pm

  1. Minutes from the July meeting were approved.
  2. Bill payment status: Marilyn to provide an update when she returns home.
  3. Reservoir issues:
    • New pressure pump needed to replace one that is failing. Committee will reach out to Peak Control Systems for 3HP replacement pump
    • Control board and chlorine analyzer also need replacing. Not enough money in the 2026 budget; will defer this to next year.
    • Committee to submit a new grant request to the State to hopefully cover the control board and analyzer.
  1. Cybersecurity issues: Virtually zero exposure. Kevin recently participated in a call with the State. Our system cannot be manipulated via the internet. Status information is “read only”.
  2. Committee received the money from the VT Bond Bank to cover the recent valve replacement work. Chris King (contractor) has now been paid.
  3. Water pressure: Spot checks in the neighborhood indicate good water pressure. More checks to be conducted to get an informal “pressure map”.
  4. Kevin is still pursuing a maintenance contract with Culligan for the greensand filter.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:10pm.

Next meeting: September 15.
