Attendees: Brian Stevens, Kevin Trout, Jeff Earl, Charlie Windisch
Location: Deborah Rawson Memorial Library meeting room.
Meeting was called to order at 7:13pm
- Minutes from the July meeting were approved.
- Bill payment status: Marilyn to provide an update when she returns home.
- Reservoir issues:
- New pressure pump needed to replace one that is failing. Committee will reach out to Peak Control Systems for 3HP replacement pump
- Control board and chlorine analyzer also need replacing. Not enough money in the 2026 budget; will defer this to next year.
- Committee to submit a new grant request to the State to hopefully cover the control board and analyzer.
- Cybersecurity issues: Virtually zero exposure. Kevin recently participated in a call with the State. Our system cannot be manipulated via the internet. Status information is “read only”.
- Committee received the money from the VT Bond Bank to cover the recent valve replacement work. Chris King (contractor) has now been paid.
- Water pressure: Spot checks in the neighborhood indicate good water pressure. More checks to be conducted to get an informal “pressure map”.
- Kevin is still pursuing a maintenance contract with Culligan for the greensand filter.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:10pm.
Next meeting: September 15.
