The July meeting of the Jericho Fire District 1 was held on 7/21/2026.

Meeting was called to order at 7:05pm
- Minutes of the June meeting were approved.
- Bill payment status: Three households are now overdue for two quarters. three are overdue for quarter three. You know who you are! Please make arrangements with the bill collector (Marilyn Marshall) to make payment.
- Curb stop valve replacement: Chris King (excavator) has completed work on replacing eight valves. He will be back within the next week to smooth out the work areas and reseed. Committee is submitting paperwork with the Vermont Bond Bank so that payment can be made.
- Pump room at the reservoir: One of the two pressure pumps needs replacing (noisy and drawing higher than normal current). Pump Control Systems (Underhill VT) also recommends replacing the control circuitry as the two pumps are supposed to alternate being on (they currently both turn on). Committee to look at the estimate and determine what we can afford at this time.
- Kevin has been in contact with Culligan to arrange for a site visit and to set up an annual maintenance contract. Nothing firm yet.
