- Minutes of the April 2026 meeting were approved.
- Late payments: Too many households are delinquent in paying their water bills! Two still not have paid the 1st and 2nd quarter bills; an additional six still owe for quarter two (was due 1 April). JDF1 is a municipality and there are bills to be paid (electric, SOS, bond payments). If you are experiencing difficulties is making a payment, please reach out to Marilyn Marshall to arrange/discuss options.
- Brian stated he had made the annual payment ($21K) on the larger bond we owe. There are a few years left on this but once paid off we should be able to build our reserves and be more pro-active in dealing with infrastructure issues.
- Reservoir pumps: We have the new pump in place; trying to determine whether the second pump (noisy) needs attention. Drew trying (unsuccessfully) to reach the Peak Pump representative.
- Valve replacements: Expecting to hear back from Chris King as to when this will start (hopefully within the next few weeks).
